She started making clothes regularly around 2009 and after a couple years making clothes for herself, Tai started to accept commissions from friends and later from other girls in the Lolita community, leading to the opening of an online shop named "Sarang Hae Yo!" which was closed less than one year after its opening.
In 2011, she started studying Italian Language and Literature at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, course in which she is currently enrolled and which has given her the opportunity to visit England and Italy in 2012, and she also started working for the Department of Foreign Language and Literature at the same university in the year she entered college, job she resigned from in December 2013. In January 2012, Tai decided to get back to the sewing business and started selling goods and accepting commissions under the name MeLikesTea, which was already the name of her Blog and YouTube channel. She specialized herself on the manufacturing of Petticoats, being considered, by some Lolitas in the Brazilian community, as one of best petticoat makers, having evolved considerably from her first Lolita piece to the most recent ones.
